The Assistant Director of Parent & Family Engagement develops and executes strategic communication and program initiatives for parents and families of Georgia College & State University students, while supporting special initiatives within the Office of Student Life. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for parent emails and phone calls, planning and implementing special events and initiatives, and collaborating with Admissions on parent orientation sessions and resource tabling during admission events. The Assistant Director serves as the primary liaison to the Parent Leadership Council, partnering with University Advancement to recruit families, communicate with membership, and connect them with Admissions for ambassadorial opportunities. This position also assists with various division-wide initiatives that support the mission and vision of the Division of Student Life and Georgia College & State University.
